There are many ways to support Omaha's Catholic Engaged Encounter. Please read descriptions of the key ways you can help. Then simply submit the form at the bottom at the page and someone will be sure to contact you! Thank you and God bless you!

Becoming a Presenting Couple or Priest
On the weekend you were introduced to the presenting team comprised of two married couples and a priest who shared some of their life stories with you. Becoming a presenting couple or priest gives you a chance to do the same thing. If you are serious about marriage as a sacrament, and want to support and guide couples, then contact Bill and Natalya Murphy at 402-331-9374 or coordinator@omahacee.org

One of the two married couples in the presenting team is a senior couple who has been married for several years. The other married couple is a junior couple who are newly married. Omaha EE is in serious need of additional senior and junior couples as well as priests. If you decide you would like to present we ease you in gradually to writing your presenting talks, working through your preparation over a 8 - 12 month period. However you will immediately be considered part of the Omaha EE family and will therefore be invited to all events. A large benefit for you is the opportunity to regularly be around other married couples and families, who share your values and will support you as you journey through marriage. Presenting couples are only required to present two EE weekends each year. (Presenting Priests are asked to present only one weekend each year.) Beyond this, the weekends and fellowship events allows you to work on your own relationship and renew your marriage.

Are you married in the Catholic Church however you did not attend a weekend for your preparation and have heard of us through friends, colleagues, priests, or other dear ones and are looking for a new avenue to serve God as a couple and make a direct impact on His Holy Sacrament of Marriage? Then contact us to observe a weekend to see how it works and what role the presenting team plays. You will certainly be glad you did!

Becoming a Set-Up Couple
A very easy way to support and share in Omaha's CEE Community is to become a Set-Up couple. This Couple arrives at the Retreat Center early Saturday morning at 7:00 a.m. to set up the presenting room and lobby registration area with all of the CEE materials for the weekend. It usually takes only 30 and the Community asks that your set-up is complete by 7:30 a.m. Please contact Gene and Jo Meinders at 402-214-9596 or jolharding@aol.com to volunteer.

Becoming a Welcome Couple
Do you like meeting new people and making new friends?
Excellent! Consider becoming a Welcome Couple. We need help greeting couples as they arrive Saturday morning. You arrive at 7:30 a.m. and help us guide the couples to their rooms as well as show them the main areas used in the Retreat Center on the weekend. It is a chance to chat and answer their questions. You choose the best Saturday for your schedule. You are done at 8:30 a.m. when the weekend begins and are invited to stay for juice and sweet rolls to be enjoyed with the other welcome couples and support couples. Sound easy and fun? It is! Then contact Gene and Jo Meinders at 402-214-9596 or jolharding@aol.com

Becoming a Dinner Serving Couple
Saturday night's dinner is made very special for the engaged couples on the weekend with a select meal served to the couples. Dinner serving is truly a fun experience and a great way to meet other couples in the Omaha CEE Community. You would arrive at 5:30 p.m. Saturday to help set up the dinning room and are usually done serving dinner by 7:00 p.m. Two or three Dinner Serving Couples are usually needed each CEE weekend so we could sure use your help! Please contact Gene and Jo Meinders at 402-214-9596 or jolharding@aol.com to volunteer.

Becoming a Clean-Up Couple
Another very easy way to support and share in Omaha's CEE Community is to become a Clean-Up couple. This Couple arrives at the Retreat Center the Sunday afternoon of the weekend usually anywhere from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.depending on how the weekend is flowing, to clean up the presenting room and lobby registration area by organizing and packing away all CEE materials from the weekend. It usually takes only an hour and is such a blessing to Omaha's CEE. Please contact Gene and Jo Meinders at 402-214-9596 or jolharding@aol.com to volunteer.

Becoming a Prayer Couple
Support through prayer is one very important way you help couples making an Engaged Encounter Weekend. This is done from home. You do not need to come to the weekend. Contact Mark and Angela Davidson at 402-445-2305 or davidson111@cox.net
